Birthday, Anniversary and Hawaii!

I truly felt like I had not been home in a while after all the fun of August. The day of the wedding was a whirlind and just two weeks later we are heading of to Lehi, Utah for the open house. I love that we had flowers to bring from the previous celebrations of the bridal shower and Luncheon. Emmy's attention to detail on the decor made it so we had plenty of center pieces and frames for the Lehi open house. We pieced together what to serve for dessert and worked hard getting everything looking beautiful. Bri put up the lights and it gave very nice feel to the cabin venue. But first I got to celebrate my birthday with Joe in San Franscico and meet up with the newlyweds for Yellowcard. Joe and I got there early and went to the Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory area and walked around. We found a good parking spot and walked to the venue. The whole thing was quite the experience. Homelessness and drugs were apparent, yet there was fancy architecture and very yummy Carribean food nearby. Joe drove me home to Roseville, which was good. I kept falling asleep in the midnight hour. It was a great birthday. It was a great anniversary too. Just the day after more wedding celebrations, we got to go to Park City and Provo. We toured all the pretty places like Bridal Veil Falls and BYU Campus. I loved our time in Provo and it was so nice to visit and then have fun going out to eat at Carrabas. It is a very tasty Italian resturant. I would defineitely go there again. The most important part of all this was spending time with our older children and running around together as a family. I got more time in with the girls when we went to the Big Island Celia, Emmy, Tanya and my folks. I never have seen so many turtles. Each sunset was so good and we spent quality time trying to be frugal while enjoying our vacay. The Hilton hotel there is impressive in Kona, its a whole desitination in and of itself. We stayed at a nice place though and went ot various advetures. The coolest part was swimming with the manarays. I got bumped and will have good luck for many years, or so they say. It was just surreal being in the ocean and having these beautiful creatures come so close to us. It'll be something I wont forget for sure.

Last Cabin, Twice Utah, and One Birthday

This was a big trip and very anticipated since we have changes coming up with the ownership of the Family Cabin. We have gone there for over...
