Blessed Boat Ride
I was enjoying visiting Oahu again. I felt like I had been so recently that I did not need to do the touristy stuff. I had my routines of walking the coves with my Dad in the mornings and hot-tubing at night. I often talked to people in the hot tub and they were locals enjoying Koolina and they had fun ideas for what to do around town that was extra special. I was so glad we visited the temple on the east side of the island. I felt quite a bit of peace there on the south side of the temple where there was so much nature and things looks undisturbed. The area is so lush and besides the bell, it was quiet. The right side of the temple had shopping and I did not feel the same peace there. We visited botanical gardens and made pearl jewerly on the trip and had so much fun relaxing. The highlight for me was the boat ride. We took a sunset cruise from Honolulu and sailed a bit while we enjoyed the deep blue waters. It was very calm and I was so relaxed and happy. I want to be a sailor now, but only if it could be so calm. I did get to see a whale show up and move quite quickly through the water. I saw the tail and all the spouting of water as it came up for air. It was a special moment. We also got to see a string quartet play at an old church in town and that was pretty neat too. There were delays with the flight and nothing was perfect, but the time there was appreciated and I feel so blessed.

Pink Birthday
Celia wanted to do a photo shoot. I love that she has a beautiful dress pictures with. We had a most beautiful and yummy cake with raspberry jam inside. It was so good so much so that someone wanted to know where we got it from. Easter with both sets of Grandparents at the house was pretty good. We love haivng them both in town. We had an extended weekend visit with Murphy and Emmy and Jordon surprised us with a visit as well. We loved walking around the neighborhood in the spring and enjoying April in Roseville. Kieran graduated from BYU and we went to his commencementin Provo, Ut. It was a beautiful time and such a blessing to go and be in the Marriot center for the graduation. We all had a meal at the Block resturant. It took a long time and was very expensive, but it was yummy and we had a great time together. It was worth the 13 hour tesla drie to and from Utah. I learned about how to drive and change a Tesla at the superchargers in Nevada. I won't be taking a trip like that without a gas vehicle again any time soon. It was a lovely time and we made meany great memories and got more Minky blankets. I did spend a little time in Lehi at the Kids house. Joe's room was a nice retreat with how quiet it was and it was just a calm vibe that I needed. I'm so grateful I could crash there.

March Mules and Comic Con
After having seen Emmy in Jan. and Feb. it was definitely time to see Joe. I'm so glad he stayed with us for a whole week. We had the best time going out to all our favorite places to eat and playing Magic the Gathering. We each won one game and there were mythics pulled inthe draft which is a fun part of that draft for me. I love his company and we had such a great time hanging out around town in Roseville going to our favorite places. On the Monday he left we ran into a severe thunderstorm. I haven't been in that kind of rain, ever! I was glad when we drove through it and blue skies were on the other side. I was happy we were calm and no accidents happened on the freeway and Joe's flight back to Utah wasn't affected by the crazy weather. March has been busy with hosting book club, I read The Chemist which was the book I was hosting, but I also read three other books to talk about the series were read last month that I only read book one for. Good thing they were a fast read. I also read a book for Master Gardeners and I'll have another one to read for in early April. I'm liking it though.
I've been enjoying all the beautiful sunsets in March. I feel with the spring blossoms on the trees and the rain that comes and goes, we have a beautiful city that is so green and full of nature that it makes me grateful. I'm also glad that Bri had us go to feather river and get a change to drive mules. Joe and I follwed Celia driving Dad in front of us around. I wanted to go more offroad, but the puddles made us stay on the main road a bit. I'm sure Celia was thinking Mom is wanting to be less careful, but I was just having a great time. I got to see Spencer;s smiling face a bit and we are working on gettting him a speech device and I'm so glad he is learning and continuing to grow, Celia was excited about going to Sac Comic Con. I was wanting to dress up a bit as well. I was Daphne from Scooby doo. I couldn't believe how much attention this character got. I was taking pictures with people who asked and took a professional photo there. It was fun, but I wouldnt reccommend wearng a wig longterm. Celia was a Tally Hall band member for her cosplay and was my helper for telling me where to go and when people wanted to take my picture. It was surreal for sure, I came home and was just Mom. No paparazzi, hehe Celia and I did go to Pickelball Pam's wedding and it was so lovely. I play with her three days a weewk and i made otato salad to bring and I let her borrow my tablecloths I had from Emmy's wedding. It went off without a hitch and the food was so good. I'm glad I went there with my pickbell friends.

Changing it up
There have been quite a few new activities or an increase in them in my life in September. Pickleball has increased to 5 days a week and I love that. At home, I realized that we had a lot of games in the garage and have been trying to get organized and orderly with that, Mainly selling them on Ebay. I'm surpised at the interest. There has been another car repair and a trip to Tahoe with my folks and a desire to go see a highschool football game are other things I've been up to. Bri and I watch NFL, but it seemed fun to go check out Friday Night Lights so I did. Just in our neighjboorhood, I went and saw some friends and enjoyed a interesting game with so may touchdowns and a fight! The cheerleaders were pretty good and the whole experience brought me back to the days of fall and football in High School. I think one game is enough, but it was fun to go and see something I hadn't in quite some time.Tahoe with the grandparents was very short and sweet. I came and we went on a sunset cruise. I've been wanting to go on the lake and see Emerald Bay from the water, so that was really nice. The cruise was windy and more social than I expected, but I loved all the beautiful sites and experience. We used the amentites at the Ridge and I won in bingo, lol. We ate at my favorite Italian resturant and enjoyed all the normal sights of Tahoe. I came hom after just a few nights. Duty calls and everything seemed to pull me back to reality, so I put out a few fires and was grateful for the time inthe clean peaceful area of Tahoe. I drove my Audi and was glad it was all fixed, just in time for the Van to need a new radiator. That is fixed now and I think things will be good for a while. Even the washing machine troubles with Spencer's house has been resolved for a while after an uncountable amount of loads washed this month. I don't mind the new additions to my routines. I have to remember to take time for the other ones. I didnt make Ward Temple Night, but I went to the temple on a dfferent day. Celia is started at BYU Pathway Worldwide and she is embarking on a growth journey,so I'll do that with my own things.D

Out and About Enjoying Nature
In June, I created another article, spent time with Spence, and ran off to San Diego. Theres a Blue Canyon near El Dorado Hills that we took Spence on a ride to. It was gorgeous and we stopped by Opportunity Acres which is a possiblity for him to have as a day program. Things are going well for him and it is so nice to know he is well taken care of when we aren't there. He loves his popsicles and whatever he wants to pick from 7 eleven. He is so big now and gives instrctuions quite well as man of his house. We took him on a Saturday ride because we were leaving on Father's Day for San Diego. The van was all cleaned up and ready to go which after Spencer rides is no easy feat. The whole going for a car ride is a tradtion and a great experience for us Davis' I love that we get gas at propel stations, it makes the though of driving all that wasy a little more fun knowing it helps with the environment and is a bit less expensive.
Celia did well on our trip. She wanted the radio so we listened to a lot of Spanish music as that was what was avaiablbe on the Interstate 99. I got so excited about being in L.A. area again, we played all the songs about L.A. we could think of. One for Red Hot Chili Peppers came to mind. I get such a youthful energy from visiting that area. We went even further down to San Diego for Brian's Special District Conference.
San Diego was so beautiful and it felt like Hawaii at the resort. We saw a real battleship float by with guns and navy people on the bay near our hotel room. Emmy and I rode bikes and toured the area, the sights and sounds of the ocean and bay are soo relaxing. I wanted to visit Hotel del Coronado which I remember from when I was a little girl. It was so fancy and new, I hardly recognized it. We did find a Boathouse near there and tried various fresh catches of fish which was soo cool. I loved seeing and smelling the bonfires on the beach and hearing a singer sing "Brown Eyed Girl" as we walked by. Those that grow up near the beach(like myself) have no idea how good they have it. It is pictureque and fun. The beach is full of open expanse, wind in your hair, and sun bathing blue water. I can see why coastal is a decorating theme. For now I will visit and continue to love and appreciate the trees and beauty of the inland areas. Emmy and I went and saw the temple and La Jolla beach by UC San Diego. I was happy Emmy got to spend some time with her long time friend, Kaitlyn also. After work Brian and all us girls went to see Bob's Burgers, the movie. The Amc was near a mall. I liked the outdoor malls there, although we went to two since the first one was a mistake. I may have been hangry since we all didn't know where we were going and we were winging it. I was still glad we went. The girls and I also went to SeaWorld. The water rapids ride there was the best and you cannot be more impressed with the Orca whales, They do such a good job there and Celia really seemed to enjoy it. Other highlights were getting an umbrella(there was compeition) at the pool and ordering lunch to be brought out to us, I felt so fancy. I loved the sunset stroll and looking at all the plant and wildlife. We snuck a peak at the Japanese garden there onthe way to the airport for Emmmy, but I could have spent a few more days there just exploring. It is always good to be home and great to see Spence again so its fine. Celia and I got to go boating a few days ago too and that was a blessing and a relaxing and fun social experience. I was asked last minute if I would drive and I was so happy to say yes, I secretly wanted to go since I don't serve in Yound Women's anymore. So I got the best of both worlds being able to teach temple prep with Brian for our calling and still get to be with the younginrs at Folsom Lake. God is good and I feel his tender Mercies and blessings. I can't wait to gather most of the kiddos again when we go to Colorado to the cabin.
It'll be wonderful enjoying nature there as always.
