Field Trips

It has been such a wet winter, and homeschooling online only became a little isolating, so we decided to take some field trips. I know Celia loves animals, so we went to the Sacramento Zoo. The snow leopard there was a big hit. His paws were still so furry and it was such a beautiful animal. The lion and Lioness were sunbathing in the sun, looking so stately. Celia and I walked around and she wanned to go on the carosuel. She was welcomed with smiles of the workers and had a great time riding the eagle which she had had her on on in a previous visit to the zoo. We liked field tripping so much that on a different day we went to the Sea Quest aquarium in the Palladio. It was cool. The highlights were being under the fish tank and the machines that could give small prizes. We will go back again as we have a year long pass. Our routines were distrupted alittle when Dad's eliptical broke, but he ran outside and we adjusted our routines. Celia did have a fun chance to go to Mormon Prom with Patrick. She wore a beautiul long navy dress that Emmy had with a plush over thehead zipper top she gotfrom Laura for her Birthday. Celia had fun at Patrick birthday party before that and after all of this, they seem to be meeting up quite often and talking a lot. It has made me so happy to see her firendshipping again with friend from John Adams even though she doesn't go there anymore. I've been busy with deciding what to write my article for on Auburn Journal for this month. I was blessed wto get it done right before the deadline. It was well recieved and google news picked it up. I felt the Lord's hand in my sucess for sure. We have plans now ot go to more field trips in San Diego next month and we can visit Crocker Art Museum nearby as well.

Full of Family and their friends

It was fun to see Joseph's friend David come home from his mission. He came over and it was like he hadn't been gone. It was the beginning of a month full of games and Pokemon Go runs. We then saw Ethan. The buddies were back together again. Earlier in December we visited the remotw island of Kauai. Our Trip there was so tropical and beautiful and full of figuring out coopertaion with the whole extended family. When I got back, it seemed all about Spencer's teeth and continues to be so. However, we started getting the plus ones coming to town. First Emmy and Laura, then Jordon made a surprise appearance of of Joseph's trunk. Celia had a few trip to the mall with Patrick and Joseph and spent time over at Joseph's house. They talked a lot over discord as well. I love visitng the giving tree at our mall to donate help with water and toilets in other country's. We had a cold snap here and I ran a bunch of coats to Deseret Industries in hopes ofhaving coats for those that need it. I sent Christmas cards as a hopre to say Hi to all I could and let them know I was thinking about them. We had Christmas Eve dinner here and It was fun to host and the ham was so yummy. We did Christmas Brunch at my Mom's and visited Spence for our yearly family picture out in front of his house. He is in a good spot where he is at and we are very grateful. For New year's we had 12 people for posole and Just Dance gamming. It was a blast. I can't believe how blessed we are to have so many friends that came to visit our kids and all the things they did with those friends even not at our house. We are truly blessed with great relationships which are so important in life.

Fantastic Christmastime

December was great. It was full of service and celebrations. I had the opportunity to be with friends and help others. I couldn't help but feel the importance of ministering to the one and being there for my family and friends and ministerees one by one. I feel some of my difficult experiences from 2019 have helped me to be more kind and understanding to others. It has been nice having Emmy visit and it was a relief to finish the first part of Eight grade for Celia. No more Latin, hopefully.  We have taken trips to the outdoors mainly in citrus heights looking for things, people and shopping. We have loved visiting Spence and taking him out. It was fun to decorate his duplex and bring a little light and spirit into his own home.  I am grateful for the attention and care he gets there. Joe is getting ready to ship off to Idaho and it is nice to know that it is a good thing to launch and we have had time to prepare and some much quality time together. Our family is tight and he will be missed, and I hope to have great reunions when its time. We are so blessed to have Brian and My folks in town.

Last Cabin, Twice Utah, and One Birthday

This was a big trip and very anticipated since we have changes coming up with the ownership of the Family Cabin. We have gone there for over...
