So far I'm very pleased with the deep tub in the master bath and am loving the kitchen. I have the kids take their shoes off when they come in and we love how the carpet feels. I still need to get over there and seal the tile and help my closets and laundry room to all have a spot for our things. My goal is not to accumulate a junk drawer in the kitchen! I really want to take good care of our new place. Here are some panarama pictures of the sprinklers. I mean it makes a panarama view if you view in order;)

Moving~ The shifting of our things to a new location.
Its official. We have the keys to our new home and we have been moving a few things over. It is a process. The kids are excited, but seem to bode well taking in all in a piece at a time. I'm glad we are moving a few things in this week before Saturday, so they can get used to the idea. I've had some friends come and help me pack up. Patty, Robin, Tammy, Irene, Mary Jane, and Laurie.:) I really appreciated the help, I've been still recovering from oral surgery and a couple months of vertigo symptoms. I am gaining strength though and feel better each day. I've been able to pack and move and organize a lot myself!

I talked to a landscaper and I'm excited about the possibilities for the backyard. A king palm and a blue spruce is in the plans. I can't wait to hang up curtains in the house that accentuate the 9 foot ceilings. It'll be a lot of fun. I saw several teenagers out in the neighborhood. I think Emmy will do just fine over there. She went to a Church dance in the area and met girls and had a blast with them. I hope she knows we can keep the friends we have and just add to the happiness we have in building friendships with others. Cassy, Patty, Betty and I went out to Italian at Taste of Tuscany. I had eggplant parmsean. It was delicious, I had been craving that lately. I brought home a lot of leftover bread sticks to Spence he loved it. Book group last week was talking about food since we read the book, "My Life In France". Our topic of conversation turned to how good food is beneficial for our bodies. Those of us who cook bring something to the table;) for those we cook for. Food and friends and fun sure build great memories. I will be glad to start making those memories cooking delicious healthy family meals at our new home.

Pinata!~
Spencer is fourteen and he loves green. We tried to make everything green for his day. He celebrated at school with a party and after school we had an Angry Birds party with my kids and the tutors. We built a tall Lincoln logs building and smashed it to the theme song of angry birds. I let Spence play Angry birds on the Kindle Fire for a little bit too. He was cracking up. It led well for hitting the Pig Pinata! It was tough to break open and everyone had a great time trying. When it was finally stomped on and ripped open the kids love pulling out the gum, candy and toys. Joseph was pretty proud of his stash of gum(He better just use it to concentrate for Star Testing this week) and Celia had a biggest bag of goodies.. Just like on Easter she had over 50 eggs! he he.
We came inside and decorated cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, green sparkle gel and candy eyes to make Angry birds pigs then we ate them.:) On the theme of green we had green grapes, kiwis, and yes avocado as snacks foods. It was a great time and I was glad to see Spencer so happy and calm. He wore his new Angry birds T-Shirt to school, but he was sporting his new hoodie from my folks all the way from Amsterdam. Spencer's tutor Vincent said it was pretty slick! What a great celebration for Spence.

Easter 2012
Spence didn't know if he liked going to church without dad. He was tantruming sitting and waiting for sacrament meeting to start, so we went out on the couch in the foyer. He fell asleep for the whole meeting( 1 hour ten minutes).:) I was happy to be able to hear the speakers and to hear Emmy sing Easter songs in the ward choir. Afterwards Spencer came to his class for sunday school that I teach and made it through the whole time! What a blessing. He was calm and smiley after church, phew.
Easter was drawn out the whole weekend.:) Hunt for eggs in the back yard on Friday, Saturday a trip to nut tree square to ride the carosel and train, color eggs, then church on Sunday. We sure missed Joseph and Bri, but were glad they were able to visit NM for Grandma Jean's 90th birthday celebration! Emmy loved the eggs, she made the dye and learned about how vinegar helps the colors to be brighter. It was like a science experiment for her. I was happy for her help with Spence and Celia this week.
