Utah, again and again
Joe moved to Utah and we got him settled in, but then Brian had a misison reunion in Utah and we went out there in June, we went in may, and will be visiting in July and August! The mission reunion was nice. It was such a spiritual experience. I loved the fireside, hearing the president and his wife talk about the micracles of the mission coming toegther, their call, their blessing of staying in the calling and how the work flourished. I could tell that each missionary there was touched by serving at that time. I'm glad they had the music, food, and pictures of the people and culture of the area. I can see why Brian is so in love with the country and the people. I heard stories I hadnt before and was totally impressed with the whole thing. I'm so pleased he went on a mission there.
We got to spend some time in Lehi at Jordon's house and had awonderful time with our children. We always do! We played games, and went out to eat. We played Pokemon go and went to a new game store and to DI. We anticipate more trips to Utah. We will be going to the cabin and will be hosting an open house in Lehi for the wedding celebrations! We finished the pre bridal photo shoot and the bridal shower and are working hard on the details of the wedding. It is a busy time. I listenend to something from Presiden Oaks that said, focus on the important things, all of them at once. I took that as little by little we can be hitting all the impostant parts and progeressing over time. It is something to think about and try to implement. I know whenever I do a tiny bit in my yard or garden, it makes a difference later, especially with the heacy lifting of spring clean up. I'm making a goal to do more daily and maybe things will run more smoothly.

Anticipation Increases
May was really busy. I wrote my article for Auburn journal and we left for Lehi Utah to help move Joe and see Jordon's new house. It was a fun trip and we were so pleased to stay at Jordon's and meet his parents and a few siblings. Spending time with Brian,Emmy, Joe, Celia and Jordon is so fun. We were ableto go to the Saratoga Springs Temple open house and I felt the spirit very strong. We did some things for Emmy's car and visited many Costcos. Celia was almost of out school and somehow it all worked out well doing what we needed to and having fun little by little. Emmy got engaged offically just days after we left and I was so happy Joseph called me and let me know when it was happening. Laura did a great job taking pictures and I was so pleased wth the whole event. I feel blessed to have things coming together nicely for the wedding. It is sshort amount of time, but gladlyy we have been preparing for the wedding for a bit.The Lord has helped me to make choices and someohow make things possible. We have had own share of ups and downs, but I cannot deny all the wonderful times we have together as a family and navigating through this exciting time!

What a fun filled, busy month
Emmy came to town and all the fun started. It was beautiful weather out, so we took a lot of walks, mainly doing Pokemon Go. Her and Jordon came for nearly two weeks and during that time, Joe and Laura came. It was a lot of family meals, games and going out. We went to Denios Auction and to San Franscico for a Summer set concert, and we had Birthday fun with Joe. Despite Jordon's denial that they are engaged, we bought a wedding dress and they took enagement photos. They turned out beautiful! Talk of waiting for the ring did not keep up from full wedding preparations or at least planning mode. I was sure proud of Emmy's maturity with it all and we all liked being together. It was proposed that Joe move to Utah and stay with Jordon in his new townhome and it turned into a real plan. So many changes and new beginnings are coming a long and its exciting. Easter was nice celebrating at my folks house and we had fun going to San Diego for Celia's Birthday week. We celebrated Spencer's Birthday in a rental SUV that was pretty snazzy. I was pleased with how everyone got a long and jsut went with the flow and mishaps of the days together. Joe and I went to the Crocker Museum and it was so nice. We were rear ened on the way home, but are doing okay. Joe left for Lehi today, but it was great having him hear for a few weeks after the others went home. He has such a great laugh and it a caring person. There we are switching gears agian for the year and settling into a quiet few weeks before more plans for travel happen. Celia is getitng her permit soon and will be done with Junior year within the month. Nice times, I hope we can all be open to change and be blessed for all our effort. I love Emmy's pizazz and energy and it will be good to have and emulate as we move forward with the next few months!
