Spencer's Turn

Spencer Doodle Davis~
Another year has past. I can't believe our Spencer doodle is growing up so fast
.
This is what Spencer looked like this morning, sleeping in, a preteen for sure. He likes the blankets completely covering him, even over his head!

Celia is a big fan of birthdays especially as the cards and presents keep going on and on for her.:) She loves turning on music for Spencer and dancing around.

Celia loved Spencer's birthday ball as she calls it. Spencer did get some turn however, it was hard to catch him non blurry on the camera.

We had a relaxing morning. Lil Joe still in his PJ'S.

Yes it has a nine on it and three other candles. You have to add to see how old Spencer is:) He didn't seem to mind. He blew the candles out well and enjoyed the cake that I used food coloring to have the actual cake green and the middle and top frosting were blue.~

Spencer doodle had a fun day. He liked watching the kids excited about his birthday. He isn't much into presents, but he sure loved watching Avatar. The case has blue and green his two favorite colors and he was totally entertained and cracking up laughing watching the show. We played guitar hero for him too. He loves to watch the TV and hear us sing. He is a fan of Taylor Swift songs. Emmy made Spencer a CD of music he has seemed to enjoy hearing on the radio. We are excited for his upcoming gift of a Canine Companion! I think we will see some real good come of it for our sweet boy.

Emmy's Drama Experience

Emmy had a great time performing in her schools version of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew". They hadn't really gotten to practice much during the year, so it was a few days of cramming in rehearsals. I loved all the costumes, very authentic looking. The kids complained they didn't know their lines, but they did very well! Emmy had a girl she was supposed to interact with miss her cue though so Emmy and six other players add libbed for a little. It worked out great.:)
They were able to go to a costume shop the night before. I loved the costumes. Emmy was Lucentio's Father Vincentio. He was a very wealthy Landowner. Vincentio comes to find someone is acting like him in a plot to deceive a fair maiden's mother. Emmy got to punch and draw a sword and declare who she(HE) was a lot. She did a great job and it was fun to see. Emmy was in a play in 5th grade where she played a male and was last to come on stage and had quite a few lines to end the show. They refered to her throughout the play. This was the same, I told her it felt like dejavu. She played a male and they made reference to her character many times and she was the last to be introduced on stage. She had 20 lines and delivered them well without any noticeable nervousness.:)

My Baby is four!

Celia was trying so hard to blow out her candles that her face was wiggling, it was cute!. Dad stood behind her and blew from afar and magically all four candle blew out.:)

Celia had two cakes! One I won on a Relief Society swap, thats another story. The other I made her so she wouldn't mind sharing. She was pretty territorial of both!

Celia had a wonderful trip to the Arden mall. We had pizza by her request. She got to ride the piggy on the carousel, and made a beautiful pony named Zoey at Build A Bear. She was so happy and wiggly you'd think she had had the cake before hand!

It was a day of arts and craft before school. Celia, Amy, Luba,& I worked a birthday hat to wear to school!

This towel is huge and so soft! I love it.

Celia's all ready for the summer with her bathing suit, flip flops and beach towel.
Celia was lucky to have Emmy play music for her and celebrate early in the morning on her birthday. We are all excited she is four! Time has flown by.~

Dora Galore.~

Celia woke up this morning talking all about her Dora party. She is so lucky to have such a wonderful Rah Rah. What a special little party she gave Celia for her early birthday! Thanks~

Joseph got a real kick out of being blindfolded and spun before playing pin the tail on swiper!

We were all happy Tate could come and celebrate with us. Joseph and him were paling around a lot. I tried to get a picture of the two of them but Emmy walked in front. This was the second picture after Tate had been saying cheese for quite a while.:)

Celia is so cute about her birthdays. She talks about them a lot, but gets shy when its time to open presents and sing the song. She waited patiently while we sang and loved licking the frosting off the cupcakes. They were super yummy and she didn't want to share, but we were all very glad she did.:)She had asked for chocolate cake with pink frosting. These cupcakes were a dream come true!

Celia is all set up on her new cozy pink pillow watching Dora ever so closely. What a great celebration afternoon!

A Day in the Backyard.~

Celia is always moving and dancing around. Its cute when she has flowers in her hands too.

Celia dug in the dirt long after we were done prepping and planting our garden this year. I can picture her gardening when she is a mom too. She loved it out there, now if only I can get her to stop picking all the flowers!:)

The gardener said to not use the soil, but to add our own in areas where we plant only. Celia and I planted cantaloupe, zucchini squash, and tomatoes.

The first budding rose of the year. Its not even from our yellow rose bush, it was from our peach colored one!

Today was a easy going day. It was beautiful outside. I was able to get some reading done, Yes, I finished my book for book group this month hooray! I should since I was the one who referred it as one to read hehe. Celia, Spencer and I were buddies. Brian and Joseph went to clean the Church in the morning and then over to Rah Rah's and Emelie was able to go to Great America for a band field trip. She is in concert band. They play a little then ride the rides and enjoy the amusement park the rest of the day.~ She had a great time and got home after 9 pm! Its great to have everyone home together again. Celia took a nap and Brian and I played some cards too. That is always fun. It reminds me of what we did before kiddos. Weekends are nice to get some relaxation in.~

Joseph's birthday~

We went to the park and had some pizza and carrot cake( made by Spencer & I) with RahRah, Papa, Lance, Dawn & the cousins from Utah for Joseph's Birthday. Its great to just relax and do an easy birthday outdoors. It was a little windy, but we were happy to be with the family.:)

Emmy loves to tease Celia and hold her back. There is always a lot of teasing going on with the Davis family Uncle lance teased Joseph and included a Tinkerbell barbie in his present. Celia was so happy saying theres my present, as if it was hers all a long.~

I thought this was a cute picture of the redheaded Davis cousins; Trevor and Taylor.~

We had a great Easter Dinner then had Joseph's yummy Birthday Ice cream Cake for dessert. That blue frosting stained our skin a little bit though!

I can't believe Joseph is Nine. Time flies. He is a sweet gentleman Joe. He likes to make all sorts of faces these days, but he still is our giggly and smiley boy. Joseph couldn't be happier with his DSI. He listens to music on it, checks his email, snaps pictures of family then distorts them and of course plays games. He has a very special birthday and its fun to have it during the school year too. He was a happy guy.:)

What a Easter!

All the kiddos got watches and Emmy figured out how to set everyones.~

We did watch a little conference, dove into the Easter baskets, colors eggs, and when we were ready for the hunt, we felt an earthquake. Tanya mentioned we were having an eathquake then we noticed the highly swaying chandelier and the pool seems to have rings in it. They were growing larger too. Then the pool acted like Tsunami. The water receded then went over the side by the diving board then came up way over the side onto he other end of pool. We saw a few news briefs after the quake and our pool was most impressive we decided hehe. I rescued Spencer from the back yard. he was swinging and we waded thru about four inches of water and came in the house with me before the water reached the door. We're all fine, but my Dad said that they will remember this Easter for years to come.
Bri got Celia this pretty little Dress that is reversible. We love it and it matches the flowers behind her hehe.

The Easter bunny packed a lot of souvenirs from South America in his baskets.:)

Easter was a pretty busy day. The whole group of kids were very excited to check out their baskets. Emmy led the troops down the stairs to find the baskets lined up on the table. I was impressed that Emmy made me a little Easter gift! She burned a CD of her music she has recently bought on Itunes. I'm glad she keeps me in the know of what she listens to lol. It was a great time, so busy and crazy, but memorable.

Last Cabin, Twice Utah, and One Birthday

This was a big trip and very anticipated since we have changes coming up with the ownership of the Family Cabin. We have gone there for over...
