We had a great time at Dream Night at the Sacramento Zoo. It is a special thing going to sponsored event for families of kiddos with Special needs. Some highlights were Free cotton candy, soda and a little stuffed snow leopard for each of the kids. We had a little chipotle taco and enjoyed all the animals! I realized my camera had been taken from my purse at home and only had my video camera on me. Incredible were the experiences with Spencer and the animals. Spence usually has a hard time in public, yelling, hitting, etc.. This night though, he was calm, compliant, happy, and content the entire time! He had special interactions with a giraffe and an amazing one with a tiger! We saw it and went over the the side where there was glass right where he was lying down. As soon as Spencer walked up to the glass, the tiger stood up turned around and looked Spencer right in the eye. I told him the tiger was saying Hi and Spence said "Ha". It wasn't too hot at the zoo even though it was in the high 90's that day. Spencer also loved the anteater. We went to ride the carousel soon after seeing the anteater and that is the animal Spence choose to ride on for the ride. Joesph wants to go again next year and Celia loved it all as well. Emmy was playing at the high school graduation with her band group( they sure keep her busy), but we will catch her next time!
